I’m Nancy Andres, a Tucson based Health and Lifestyle Writer, Wellness Blogger, and Author.
With more than two decades of experience forming words into published prose for newspapers, presses, and online, I pen non-fiction content, news briefs, investigative reports, and blog posts on-target and on-time.
Over one hundred of my freelance articles and essays have appeared in publications that include the New York Times, L.I. Newsday, American Profile Magazine, Lovin’ Life After 50, Natural Awakenings Magazine, and other health, women’s, and lifestyle magazines.
My career path has been diverse. I hold a permanent teaching certificate in Early Childhood Education and have taken graduate level courses in Environmental Education. My interests are eclectic. My passion is to help others improve the quality of daily living. I do that by communicating effectively, as I share health and lifestyle ideas and tips on this website, at my blog Colors 4 Health and in the articles and content I write for publications and business concerns.
Currently I sustain a multifaceted role as writer, wellness blogger, and author of Colors of Joy: A Woman’s Guide for Self-Discovery, Balance, and Bliss.
In addition, I'm delighted to show you ways to develop an awesome self-care routine , tips that enable you to journal write for self-empowerment, and use color energy to improve vitality and sense of well-being.
In the past, I have been a Publicity Coordinator, Workshop Leader, Travel Agent, Professional Cook, Healthy Eating Coach, and Nutritional Gourmet Cooking Teacher.
Since childhood, I have been fascinated with the poetry and beauty in written expression, found joy in colors, gained skill and pleasure from food preparation experiences, and am a life-long admirer of nature, people, and learning.
I experience life with all my senses and have created and maintain rich, fulfilling relationships with people I love. Today, I enjoy being with those who work on themselves. I appreciate people who accept responsibility for their own happiness and well-being. I'm grateful I count myself in that group.
